What is Para Todo Bien?

Para Todo Bien is the newest creation from the Costa Verde Long Island Hospitality group and has just recently entered the early phases of construction in November 2024.

Verde Kitchen & Cocktails was the first restaurant we opened and has been operating continuously in its original location 70 E. Main Street since 2014. Verde will soon transition into Para Todo Bien in a new location and with all new branding. Rest assured, the care & quality you’ve come to expect from Verde will not be overlooked in our new location. We look forward to bringing you the best of everything Verde, along with many new creations and improvements in our new space.

We’ve learned so much over the last 11 years and we can’t wait to invite you in to see everything we’ve been working on!

Where will Para Todo Bien be located?

The new space will be located at 55 W. Main Street in Bay Shore, formerly home to Peninsula Asian Fusion. The restaurant is currently under construction and is expected to open sometime in early 2026.

What does Para Todo Bien mean?

Para todo bien translates to English as “for all things good”. It’s derived from an old Mexican saying ”Para todo mal, mezcal. Para todo bien, tambien! Meaning, for all bad things, there is mezcal, and for all things good, there is also mezcal!

Para Todo Bien is our way of celebrating our love for Mexican culture and agave spirits through our own interpretations and creativity.

Although we are sad to be leaving our original location, we know that Verde will live on within Para Todo Bien. For all things good is our way of keeping everything we believe in close to us. Para Todo Bien encompasses everything we love: family, friends, food & cocktail culture, quality over quantity, honesty and integrity, transparency, community and all of the values we learned from Verde Kitchen & Cocktails.

Scope of work

We are completely gutting and rebuilding a brand new state-of-the-art restaurant, featuring a rooftop bar & terrace, catering & event rooms, a hidden mezcal bar, and so much more. Our new kitchen will occupy roughly 1,000 sq ft of the restaurant and will feature a 12 foot brick hearth with custom wood-fired grills, double ovens, elevated grill towers, and live fire cooking. This new feature will be the heart and soul of our food program and offers infinite potential for new culinary creations. During the warmer months, our new restaurant will be over 9,000 sq ft, more than 3 times larger than Verde Kitchen & Cocktails is now.

Our Progress

As of fall 2024, PTB is currently in the beginning phases of construction and is expected to be completed in early 2026.

Catering

I have an event booked at Verde, is there anything I need to know?

Other than the information listed under our current Verde FAQ’s listed on our catering page, there is not much else to know. Any event that is already booked with us will be hosted as originally planned and our contractual obligations will be 100% fulfilled. There will come a point in time when we will briefly be unable to accept reservations or book catering events due to our transitioning into the new space

Are you booking catering events at PTB yet?

Since we don’t fully know our upcoming timelines, we cannot begin booking catering events at Para Todo Bien. If you are interested in hosting an event at Verde or Para Todo Bien, please fill out a catering inquiry and we will contact you to discuss the details!

Gift Cards

I have a gift card or am planning on buying a gift card from Verde or PTB, what do I need to know?

All gift cards that have been sold since 2014 until present day are able to be redeemed at both spaces, pending the timing of your visit. In other words, all Verde/PTB gift cards that are sold at any point in time will be redeemable at Verde (70 E Main Street) up until that space closes and will then become redeemable at Para Todo Bien when that space opens.

The Verde to PTB Transition

Will there be a gap between Verde Kitchen & Cocktails closing and PTB opening?

Most likely. We will do our best to be as transparent as possible as this part of the process approaches. In a perfect world, we will need 3-4 weeks of training our staff in our new facility, ensuring the opening is as seamless as possible. There will come a point in time when we will briefly be unable to accept reservations or book catering events due to this unknown period of transition.
